Snoop gets TV show and global distribution

Snoop gets TV show, Global Distribution, and will be featured in Rock Band video game.

Reports first surfaced that Chris Brown had been in an altercation with a woman and is now being charged with felony assault.

TMZ has revealed that the woman is Rihanna; Chris Brown’s superstar girlfriend with hits like “Umbrella” and “Disturbia”.

“Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Rihanna’s injuries were severe — two “huge contusions” which swelled up on both sides of her forehead. We’re told she also suffered a bloody lip and nose.”

So no car accident but the situation is a train wreck as rumors are now spreading that the altercation stemmed from Rihanna giving Chris Brown Herpes!!!

What? Wow, I don’t know but it just goes to show that just because they shining doesn’t mean their not burning. I call that the “red carpet”.

So both artists canceled their Grammy performances, Chris Brown turned himself in to LAPD and was released on $ 50 K bail.

Staten Island Advance reports:

“ESPN aired its lengthy interview with Alex Rodriguez on Monday evening and one of the topics that really got Rodriguez going was the tactics of Sports Illustrated reporter Selena Roberts. Rodriguez took off on Roberts, who co-wrote the Rodriguez piece with David Epstien, claiming that she resorted to questionable tactics when researching the story.

“What makes me upset is that Sports Illustrated pays this lady, Selena Roberts, to stalk me,” he told ESPN’s Peter Gammons.

Rodriguez went on to say that Roberts was tossed from his New York City apartment building, that she had to be escorted off of the University Miami campus by police when she sought out Rodriguez at the campus gym on Thursday and that she tried to break into his Miami home where his “children were sleeping”.

“There are some really respectable journalists that are following this lady off a cliff,” he said.

Roberts, as most would expect, immediately issued a statement through Sports Illustrated saying, “The allegations made by Alex Rodriguez are absurd” and affirmed that she’d never been to his apartment or his Miami home and that she’d never had any run-ins with police at the University of Miami campus.”

“The police department said in a release that the 19-year-old R&B singer and an unidentified woman were in a vehicle in the Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles early Sunday (February 8) when they began arguing.

Police said Brown and the woman got out of the car and the argument escalated; the woman reportedly identified Brown as her attacker. Officers said Brown was not present at the scene at the time. People.com is reporting that the woman suffered visible injuries.

A rep for the singer had not responded to MTV News’ requests for comment at press time.

According to Entertainment Weekly’s Web site, Rihanna and Brown were involved in a car accident Sunday night; a rep for her would not confirm or deny the accident, saying only that “Rihanna is well. Thank you for the care and support.”

“It was announced on “E” Sunday night that neither Rihanna nor Chris Brown will be performing at the Grammy Awards as scheduled; the Recording Academy has issued a press release confirming that Rihanna will not be appearing at the show.”

The battle started over Soulja Boy’s purchase of an Alpine White Lamborghini Gallardo convertible, which retails at $220,000.

Soulja Boy quickly released a youtube video challenging Bow Wow to a race for pink slips.

Bow Wow’s response was a video with his Orange Lamborghini Murciélago with matching Ashanti rims and a complete sound system.

Soulja Boy then responded with a video, in which he accused Bow Wow of "fronting" in a rented Lamborghini, stating that Bow Wow couldn’t race for pink slips if he wanted to because the car isn’t registered in his name. Video

It would seem that Soulja Boy was sorely misinformed as Bow Wow’s $400,000 custom Lamborghini Murciélago is registered in his name and has been since he purchased it a few years ago.

Can’t front Bow Wow’s shit is hot and I think Soulja Boy does have a lot of catching up to do on the financial tip.

Bow Wow released another video providing proof of ownership and calling Soulja Boy a one hit wonder. Bow Wow went as far to offer to buy 100,000 units of SouljaBoyTellEm; Soulja Boy’s new album which flopped selling 45,000 units so far.

So now things get serious as Soulja Boy has just released a diss track titled, "Fuck Bow Wow".

Soulja Boy says that he plans on leaking Bow Wow’s new album; New Jack City pt. 2, weeks before it drops in stores. That’s a low blow but Soulja Boy is right about Bow Wow not being a gangster… New Jack City pt 2?

So the beef between Soulja Boy and Bow Wow has gotten more serious than who has the best Lamborghini. The young boys are fighting to eat in a recession.
